2012 conference registration form

THE 2012 CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD  AT THE MANOR VAIL LODGE IN VAIL, COLORADO!  — SEPTEMBER 5, 6, AND 7, 2012

LOCATION: Manor Vail Lodge.  595 Vail Vally Drive Vail, CO 81657.  For reservations call 1800-950-8245.

The rooms are $99 per night for a studio (sleeps 1 or 2) or a one bedroom condo (sleeps 1 0r 2).  The 2 bedroom condos are $198 per night and can sleep up to 4.

There is a also a $5 per day charge per vehicle, per day for parking, and a 5% resort fee per night on the room.

You MUST book as early as possible as we are limiting the amount of attendees this year to maximize the experience!!!

    8:00-9:30 Back by popular demand!!!  The Comedy Crew…  An “R” rated stand-up comedy show.  Vinnie Montez and his crew are Fantastic!  Please be our guests at this show!  The show will be sponsored by SIERRA NEVADA ALE!

    Tuition for the conference is the same as the last EIGHT years at $275.00.
    Alternative funding (scholarships) can be found in the form of “VALE grants” and here:

    The Greater Metro P.O.S.T. Training Region consists of all state, county and local law enforcement agencies in Judicial Districts 1,2,17 and 18 (Adams County, Arapahoe County, Broomfield County, Denver County, Douglas County, Elbert County, Gilpin County, Jefferson County and Lincoln County.)

    Funded by the Colorado P.O.S.T. Training Project, we offer courses at no-cost to all members of the Metro area, as well as training scholarships for individual courses selected by agencies.     Staff Sergeant Gary McDougall, Calgary Police (Ret)

     

    Gary McDougall is a retired police officer and served the law enforcement community for a period of 25 years with the Calgary Police Service.  In 1997, Gary attended the Canadian Police College in Ottawa and successfully completed the Certification Program to become a qualified Hostage/Crisis Negotiator.  During his 9 years as an operational Hostage/Crisis Negotiator, Gary was involved in 47 high risk negotiations. In addition to his involvement as an operational Negotiator, Gary coordinated all of the training for the Hostage Negotiators for his agency.  After retirement from law enforcement and based on his experiences as a front-line Negotiator, Gary formed his company called Conflict Solutions and is currently on the speaking circuit. He currently provides interactive seminars in conflict management, dealing with difficult clients, effective negotiation strategies and workplace violence issues.  Gary is also a graduate of the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia and has presented to and facilitated training for new FBI Hostage Negotiators.
